  • Disorientation or stupor
  • Tremors, convulsions, numbness, paralysis

Severe symptoms usually do not occur immediately; they generally will be present from three days to two weeks after you’re bitten by an infected mosquito. If you notice severe symptoms, call the doctor immediately.
